There are wooden acoustic panels that look much nicer and can be used for this purpose.

I’d say another Ikea pegboard but it seems you don’t put much on it. Maybe more Lego. Still need to pick up the throne room, it looks sick

Just get some proper acoustic panels. Theirs lots around, going from cheap to expensive, from plain to artsy.

You could do a wall rug/hanging rug. The beefy wall clips are pretty cheap. Usually you can find a decent oriental rug used somewhere too. I used to work as an engineer in music studios and it was something you would see quite often. Pretty effective too 👍

Depends on budget. If you google “octagonal acoustic foam” you can find some decent and stylish options in various patterns and colors. But if your budget is higher you can eother get studio quality foam or something more stylish like “Felt Right Tiles” which is what I’m looking into now
