What cyberpunk films/shows would you say fit into the ‘used future’ category of sci fi ? I personally prefer this style over the super clean look and I’m looking for inspiration for some projects (and also just some stuff to watch).
This explains the term and gives a few examples:

Thanks in advance:)

These may not be perfectly on the mark but I find Hotel Artemis, Strange Days and Johnny Mnemonic to be good examples of grimey looking cyberpunk, although they are probably closer to “20 Minutes Into The Future”.
Check out Split Second (1992) and Gunhed (1989). Cowboy Bebop absolutely has this feel as well as the Max Headroom pilot. Also, not sure if it’s exactly cyberpunk (has some elements of it though) but there’s a film called Moon 44 that definitely has that kind of same industrial lived-in aesthetic as Alien and Outland.
Isn’t that just basically anything cyberpunk.
When a local setting is clean within a cyberpunk type story it is usually to demonstrate wealth inequality within that universe. Like rich people above the smog in chromed out skyscrapers with soot covered peons down below.
I’m struggling to think of something commonly considered cyberpunk that is exclusively UNused aesthetic. Even if there was something it is probably implying a dirty place exists behind the scenes that a charmed life protagonist just never sees.
