It’s harder to win when there’s no skill gap because anyone at anytime could get lucky and kill you.

I know this post is just memeing but when they say no skill gap it’s not literally no skill gap – but the spread of skill floor and ceiling is artificially narrowed to make the experience more “even” whereby it negates a lot of small skill differences that good players utilized to eke out an edge. As a result top 10 players all seem to be about the same skill level even as even top 1000 player.

There is a skill gap in this game, it just isn’t sliding on your butt the whole match anymore. Now it’s about where you position on the map etc
