Gonna start this rant discussion off. Prepare to be offended. The worst trend for me is the stacked monitors or TV above. Looks terrible and has to just kill your neck.
Acceptable configs:
1 landscape 1 portrait
1 large monitor
Unacceptable configs:
More than two monitors unless you have a work use case
Stacked monitors or TV above.
Everything else.

Stacked monitors with the bottom monitor sitting very close to the desk is pretty great. Everything is pretty good and very good for referencing material quickly.

I just set up 2 ultrawide monitors stacked. My work entails working with long timelines and multiple windows open at the same time. Music and video production. It’s pretty much the best setup I could hope for.
Just a side thought maybe if you didn’t spend so much time on reddit mobile your neck wouldn’t hurt from looking up. Trim your beard too. Help the Cheeto dust not stick to your chest.
