Hello Johnny_Trappleseed, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

First and foremost at the beginning of this process I knew absolutely ZERO about PCs and PC building. So hopefully this inspires others like me.

I was shopping around for a prebuilt PC that I could play CSGO/CS2 on (I was previously using a 2013 MacBook Pro). My budget was around $600. I came across some mediocre builds (I.e., Ryzen 2600, 1660 ti, 8gb ram) on eBay and asked for advice on Reddit.

Most people said that these builds would be fine but one Redditor by the name of u/SeanSeanySean said that I would get a lot more bang for my buck if I built my own. This was such an intimidating thought for me as I had know idea where to even begin. But he sent me some helpful videos (linked at the end), part lists, and enough encouragement to help me take the plunge. I ended up buying the following parts off eBay and Amazon:

    Ryzen 5 5600x (used) $127
    RX 6700 xt (used) $285
    Montech X3 Mesh (new) $80
Asus Prime B450M-A II ATX AM4 (new) $80
    1 TB SSD (new) $40
    Thermaltake Smart BM2 550W 80+ Bronze (new) $55
Patriot Viper Elite II DDR4 16GB (new) $33

    Very happy with my build!
