Yes, the footage is from IW8.0 games, rather than Cold War’s BO3 engine. But the behaviour is essentially identical across titles, and the manner in which you trigger and maintain aim assist is fundamentally the same.
Figured I’d link this after aim assist came up in a thread here, from this morning, once JGOD linked the video this evening. It’s actually quite an old video, but still incredibly relevant, given the sheer level of misunderstanding, when it comes to aim assist, among CoD players.
