Close to near perfection as you’re possibly going to get. They pretty much nailed the atmospheric vibes of Alcatraz, while leaning further into horror aspects. Afterlife was such a brilliant system integrated into the map, which makes the unlock process so much more engaging. Having the Mobsters in Alcatraz strengthened the narrative further telling a powerful story.
Overall, I think Mob of the dead has earned the status to be considered the best standalone zombies map. I always go back revisiting this masterpiece almost regularly. Every zombies map honestly needs to use Mob as a staple blueprint.
