I really like your linework and the original sketch. Take this as constructive criticism – something just seems off to me for the colored one – don’t know if it’s because they’re both in shadow now and the background color grabs more attention, or some other subtlety, but it just doesn’t have the same clean, sharp vibe as the linework one. Pretty good stuff though, I definitely can’t draw as good as any of these three, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Love it. I think you overdid the facial shadows, since the face is lost in the details. The line work and the color versions look very different as a result, where the line work shows good clear faces, while they look kinda bad on the color version. I realize you went for the shading style of the very inspirations for this picture, but the piece would be better if it were a little simplified and left the faces clearer.
