So I bought this pc from a friend about 6 months ago. Didn’t know much about computers at the time and for $500 with a monitor seemed like a good deal. Turns out it was a dinosaur.

Previous specs were a Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2, Intel i7 3820, 16gb 4x4gb DDR3, GeForce GTX 1070, 256 gb SATA SSD and a 1tb spinning drive and some static MOLEX led fans that were hideous.

After gaming on it it for the first couple days, it ran all games like shit and after some research, understandably so. So I watched as much YouTube content and asked as many questions as I could and learned how to build computers.

New Build list.

PSU-Corsair 650m

CPU-Ryzen 5 5600x

CPU Cooler-ID Cooling FrostFlow X

GPU-Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070fe (Reused from previous)

Motherboard-Gigabyte B550m ds3h

RAM- OLOy DDR4 2x16gb 3600MHz

Storage-Faxiang S500 Pro 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD

And upgraded ARGB fans all around.

Hello zdubbs710, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!
