Idea must have been shelved for some reason..
they didn’t even properly integrate new weapons into existing weapon trees because battlepass unlock, what a waste of time
They got our money for the vault edition and that was the end of them.

They said at the cod next event, the one with all the streamers, that they were going to be a rare thing because of all the work that goes into them.
Didn’t expect them to have only made one though up to this point. Maybe don’t make 80 different blueprint bundles a season, and instead make fewer that actually allow you to change gun attachments without breaking the appearance

As far as the “vault” section goes I’m confused.
Cause we (those of us who purchased the vault edition) got all the weapons that came in it if you look in your Armor for the 13-20 listed guns (I forgot how many in total) but they’re all called “Cinder” like the “Cinder M16” OR w/e.
It was all purely cosmetic stuff if that’s what you’re wondering about..?
Or am I lost here?

I feel like we might get one of the AUG platform or even the AK platform. It makes for the M4 as they got like…what 4 guns? So those are probably going to get vault versions.

Absolute joke, weapon vaults for each major weapon tree would have been super cool, but that’s probably abandoned with the two year plan in favor of easy bundles they can push to the whales for $20 each anyway…

Because they had a guy who was into this brilliant idea and this very guy didnt think about two things.
1. What do we do with battlepass?
2. What do we do with future weapon releases?
And here we are.
Sounds like there wasn’t a ton of interest in them and they pivoted in a different direction for the store blueprints. Sometimes games change direction. It happens.

I talked to someone about this recently that may or may not work for the company. They told me how much push there was behind this concept and how stressful and how much of an undertaking it was to develop. I think they were hoping we’d forget about it.
Is this seriously the only weapon vault blueprint? I mistakenly thought that all blueprints would follow the vault concept.

Crazy how a lot of issues with the newer cod are essentially SOLVED by Black Ops 4… that came out in 2018
