This is literally “Battlefield 2042 will kill CoD” all over again. CS2 will not be on console which means it’ll have no impact on the 80-90% of Warzone players who are on console. Less than a year ago the devs confirmed north of 85% of players are on console and a huge chunk of those players are on last-gen consoles. Fortnite Creative looks interesting but it’ll take quite a while before there’s a “Fortnite Verdansk” and even then I’m not sure how that would work with trademarks and patents. If Fortnite still has an overall cartoonish vibe it can’t capture any significant chunk of CoD’s player base.
I WISH an actual competitor would come along but as of now there’s nothing on the horizon so CoD will continue its spiral down the drain. I’m holding out hope that Treyarch can cook up some magic in 2024 but at this point I’ve learned it’s easier to just expect to be disappointed.

We’ve got **ONE 6v6 map after 6 months of release.** – Same map **we seen in trailer before**, and 12 pages posts were made about it in Patch Notes as if it’s a big deal… *(Remember when Black Ops 2 had 16x map at once in updates?? good maps too)*
Also, Shredder Operator had **a community post, steam post, trailer, non stop tweets.** – *I wish they’ve put 10% of that effort into listening to the community instead.*
Now there’s a **new COD being released in 7 months**, so resources are heading that way.. yay..
– Even **Fortnite** brought back Snipers Headshots, listening to their community & is now adding Terminal, Rust & other maps that players been asking to have on Call of Duty. (Heard they’re adding Verdansk next?)
– Those games + Overwatch + Counterstrike **all allowed the players to keep their old bundles on the new games, every purchase they made before is still there in the new one.** We were advertising bundles few months ago that we can’t have today.
– CS:GO kept the **same maps for 20 years, sure they added new ones, but they kept the ones that players loved** the game for. But we can’t get **Verdansk** from 2020/2021.
We’re still on COD because we love the franchise, but they’re making it really hard to be a COD fan these days..
