    This is pretty historically accurate too, the difference is that even at the time the M14 was out of date as well

    It wasn’t too bad in bo3 dlcs, definitely mid tier but not awful

    Idk if it’s different in WaW, but in the BO1 versions of those maps, the M1 Garand (and the Gewehr 43 by extension) were basically the exact thing as the M14, but slightly more powerful.

    Except that noone has ever unironically gone for the Garand simply because the Kar98k is significantly cheaper and more fun to use.

    And then theres the BO3 M14 which has one of the most incredible damage rates to date.
