    Agree. While I was one of the Rebirth stim guys, that shit was stupid AF. I’m glad movement has been nerfed a bit.

  10. A touch faster movement, a bit less sprint to fire and ADS penalties and slightly faster animations (calling a UAV, mantelling etc) and I think we’re there. That’s just my opinion though.

    nothing about the current movement mechanics is good. why do you think there’s still 5-7 teams by the last zone on ashika? because once you start moving you’re at a disadvantage immediately. in wz1 you could slide/tac sprint to cover sometimes, but in wz2 you can barely have time to even start running, let alone get to cover if you’re more than 5ft away from one. it causes a bad flow in the game and the end zones barely ever feel satisfying.

    Ttk is a huge issue, and the movement wouldn’t feel as bad with 50 additional health, but it sucks to move so slow that there is nothing you can do to break someones aim. Once they are on your hitbox it’s over. That is less fun to me. This game feels like tee ball, whereas wz1 was baseball. My KD is higher in wz2, but I’m have way less fun. But to your point, if I had to choose an order of things to be fixed in, it WOULD be ttk, then audio, then movement

    I’d love if they reduce the ads penalty of many attachments and guns. A normally built long range beamer AR in wz1 takes around 320ms to ads while a similar built AR in Wz2 takes anywhere from double to 4 business days…

    If they reduced the penalities of using your gun a little i think it would make the game and movement and fights much better and less stand-still-ADSing-a-line kind of fight

    The footstep sounds vs ambient noise on air strikes etc have to adjust, for now footstep sounds doesn’t make any sense around those overly complex buildings. I want to like WZ but I can’t just because of that.

    i just want to hear realistic Operator Noises ^(tm) something like uncontrollable flatulency, coughing, sneezing, burps, barfing etc. at inopportune times added to the game.

    hell, make operators sound like they’re damn near slipping on glass and almost shitting themselves as they jump through windows let’s get some realism for once.

    Faster mechanics and animations, slightly better movement and evasiveness without slide cancelling and raise the health and armor durability some and it would be leagues better than it is now. The game just feels like a step back for so many. It’s feels slow, it doesn’t feel nearly as fluid, you die most times before having the ability to even react or counter in anyway.

    Despite the movement issues in wz1, I atleast knew immediately what I did wrong and how to get better. To many, this game is just not that fun and doesn’t promote getting better cause it’s most often who shoots first wins 95% of the time. You can’t turn the tables on people nearly as much as wz1. All my friends have stopped playing including myself. When we do it’s a couple quick matches and that’s it. Wz1 we would play for hours in end despite any issues the game had in that moment of its life cycle.

    Anyone can disagree with me that’s fine and to each their own, but to my friends and I, this game totally sucks as a sequel

    I don’t understand why everyone has to have polarising views, everytime I’ve showed some disdain for the movement I’ve been called a stim sweat, i was never a stim sweat, i played WZ1 and refused to slide cancel because it annoyed me, and i ran a fucking heartbeat.

    There is a difference between whatever the fuck vanguard movement is and what we have now, I believe the movement needs speeding up a little, moreso the animations, apart from that we’re good on movement

    The issue here is the TTK, the devs slowed the movement but then decreased the TTL, making both feel like absolute shit; its moronic, they need to bring TTK up, much higher than WZ1 if the movement is gonna be slower, or speed up the movement to match this ridiculous TTK, but it needs raising anyway

    I’m getting killed in like 4-5 bullets at full plates, it’s outrageous

  28. The ‘movement’ is different than WZ1, and it feels too slow, but not impossible.

    The movement nerf to me is that they made a game where you die in a heartbeat, but everything is slow. Get physically hit by a lethal or non-lethal? Get slowed. Get hit 5 meters away by a blast? Get slowed. Jump into a slide? Get slowed. Want to climb this thing? Takes forever. A buy station? Slow af. You can’t finesse out of a situation anymore.

    Slide-cancelling was trash and I’m glad it isn’t mandatory to win anymore, but there was so much more that made it feel easier to get around.

  30. The real and only hard pill to seallow is that a lot of players have no idea how the game could improve and write these posts. Warzone 1 only had one big problem: the map.
    Maybe there were too many weapons, sometimes there were bugs that were fixed. Some balancing issues but Caldera is not a tactical battle royale map like Verdanks was.

    If they put back in wz1 Solos, Duo, Trio and Quad playlists, Warzone 2.0 would only be played by the 10 people who insist on commenting “I’m currently enjoying it”, in a dark corner with the fire shotgun.

    False balancing of the highest order. We can talk about removing slide canceling , but other than that minor thing, wz2 movement didn’t add anything arguably positive. The less of it, the better. This truly isn’t rocket science, stop overthinking it.
