I know it’s not a big deal but I really don’t like the Caldera bootscreen it’s ugly as fuck and would have really like to have the original back on Xbox I don’t know why they didn’t put it back as well

Good. Give these games their own identity back. It’ll never happen but I’d like to see Caldera separated into its own client too.
The splash screen was reverted to the launch version of MW. It’s glorious!
I want the lava theme gone from MW and returned to Season 0 or Season 6 background.
So does the game still force you to download WZ? I really want to reinstall on my PS5, I miss MW2019 but I don’t really want to waste all the space if I have to download WZ. Also are all the aesthetics reverted back? If I remember, they all had a weird like Vanguard filter to them.
Also gets rid of Adler saying “We’re gonna have some fun” every time the game starts up, which never made any sense anyway.

Slightly off topic, but I still cannot play modern warfare without the cutscenes just stuttering uncontrollably on both Xbox One and Xbox series x. I’m not sure if this update would do anything to fix that since I haven’t tried it yet. Anyone have any ideas?
is this if you only have mw mp installed or does it apply if you have warzone 1 installed alongside mp? I opened it up today but its the same as before, with the MWII screen right next to it

Ya I played yesterday and wondered when it changed
Now just add all the maps back that they removed and I will be happy.
The only reason I could think of for this is so they stop players from even remembering WZ1 exists entirely. Of course they remember, but they do it for that tiny amount of “let’s play warzone.. wait.. where is it?.. ah.. we’ll just play Wz2”
