    Replicants aren’t robots and they wouldn’t have trouble solving this as that specific type of captcha only stops web crawling bots from auto filling forms or pressing submission forms on websites.

    Deckard being a replicant never made much sense to me. The whole “tears in the rain” speech has much less impact if it’s just one replicant talking to another replicant—after Deckard has been behaving like a machine (hunting down and killing the replicants methodically without remorse), it’s Roy Batty who behaves more human where Deckard would have killed without hesitation. Deckard not being a replicant in that scene sets up the ironic contrast that proves replicants’ humanity and challenges Deckard’s assumptions about what distinguishes them from him.
