Have you ever thought about the fact that the Pentagon map got a Wonder Weapon that shoots ice blasts and the snowy Siberian map got a gun that turns people into CIA agents? Shouldn’t they be reversed?

Damn I’ve never thought about it like that

IIRC they were originally gonna be swapped but were changed for some reason.

Winters Howl might have improved COTD but the VR-11 is irredeemable as it is

There’d be no point testing and experimenting on an ice gun in the tundra though. Also it doesn’t turn people into CIA agents that would be silly! It saves the CIA agents playing Grief on Buried and transports them to your location. They have the Meat so that’s why Zombies follow them as well. Durr

I think in the lore the CIA mole in grouo 935 was the head of the COTD facility project. Maybe that’s why there was a switcheroo

I always thought about it for quite some time now

Yes i always thought they were on the wrong maps. The Winters Howl would be more justifiably weak on COTD too, because the zombies have developed more resistance to the cold.

I think a fire weapon would make more sense on COTD. The zombies already ‘live’ in the freezing cold, so what would a little more ice do?
