Context – I heard the guy running around, that’s why I was crouch walking, trying to determine where he is by sound. I didn’t assume he knew where I was (but maybe I got UAVed?).
Dual pistols have to be the only weapon in this game that annoys me. They’re accepted in gaming and action movies as viable weapons (even though they’re pretty much never used IRL) so I understand why they’re in the game.
But maybe the operators shouldn’t be able to fire them like they’ve got exoskeletons on which lock their arms in place as soon as they squeeze the triggers and they start firing at an insane fire rate? This looks ridiculous. Also I feel like pistols shouldn’t be able to melt 3 plates + full health like that.
What are your thoughts? I remember people complaining about dual pistols in Warzone 1, but somehow I haven’t seen any complaints now – so do you think they are in the right place (etc. balanced relative to other weapons)?

I mean, you were literally crouching, and your head was more or less right in front of his crosshair, I can see how you got deleted like that, and that is with the nerfed X13s.
Honestly, right now you don’t see that many people running around with akimbos anymore, and those that do run the p890s now due to it not being touched at all. Imo, I find those to be pretty balanced overall, given mag size and fire rate.
If anything, SMGs are back on the table, and I’m also seeing an influx of people running the brand new shotgun because it’s literally the most spammy braindead thing in the game by far. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see it rise to the top like how the Origin 12 was back in the day.

I think part of the reason you died so fast was the crouch walk, it caused dude to get mostly head shots on you which is why I don’t crouch anymore cause I just get obliterated but dam that was fast.

This is completely unacceptable for a battle royale, culprit is the TTK that doesn’t allow for people to react, on top of peekers advantage.
Everything is happening in under 500ms which is unreasonable considering 20 tick rate servers.
This is why the game feels bullshit all the time.

If you look at the ttk on sym.gg they aren’t close to meta so I don’t understand why they are so popular and effective. I think it’s cause you hipfire them and it gives you a big jump on someone who has to ads. Is there something else to it?

Stop crouching so much. Yes they’re strong, but you’re crouched right at chest height in the middle of a room with no cover, right immediately within deadly range of these things. You heard the guy coming. Back up, centre your cross hair on the little hallway in the room, either stand up or lay down, whatever isn’t crouching, and fucking shoot that guy when he comes in the door. You’d be further away, making his guns less effective, yours more effective, and giving yourself the ability to duck behind cover of a wall or out the window quickly, instead of squatting there with your pants down.
