If Verdansk Remastered got surprised dropped, would WZ2 become more enjoyable?

Is it to much to ask to bring back the old game?

  2. Cowi3102

We don’t need content, they need to fix the fucking game. Months after launch and it still runs like a beta.

Verdasnk would play like ass with this ttk and movement

  4. DIABOLUS777

No one shot sniper means it’s aim assist town…

  5. Verdansk buildings / skyscrappers with this slow movement (no movements ?) game would be a nightmare, and I loved the map.

I think Al Mazrah is actually a great map and I feel that this is generally accepted by the community (could be wrong though), the biggest problem is that the game went backwards from WZ1.
All the gameplay mechanics aside, I just cannot fathom why they got rid of all the QOL improvements from WZ1

  7. The Map is currently not my problem.
I mostly dislike how it feels to play compared too WZ1.

So no, it wouldnt become more enjoyable for me.

Low key would love map rotations like something similar to apex legends.

  9. With the hundreds of weekly complaints here about movement, money, pings, ttk, buy stations, mass player exodus, and overall terrible game play…. why would changing the map make any difference? It’s not a map problem.

The map is fine. The game mechanics aren’t fun to play.

  11. The ttk is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Wz2 is essentially open world multiplayer right now

  12. Ok-Woodpecker3047

No, because it’s not the map people have an issue with.

  13. Why is the cod community obsessed with bringing old maps back, absolutely the same on the multiplayer side.

  14. CaterpillarM3

Literally no one thinks al mazrah is the problem. So no

  15. Minamike98

Verticality is everything. Verdansk would be horrible with this game

When i think back on verdansk as a map it was insanely good. Yes al mazrah is a nice map but it doesn’t feel like a whole new world everywhere you go. Verdansk had that diversity – from the stadium to the boneyard to the dam to the promenade. Unique locations that felt like mini adventures

if verdansk got put back into wz1 with the current speed of the attachments and movement and stuff, it wouldnt even be more fun.

the problem with both of these games, that people have, is mechanics.

i dont mind pretty much any of the changes they brought to wz2. but i have an issue with a lot of the things they made for mw2 as a whole. how long it takes to do everything, is a problem.

wz1 got too fast, wz2 got too slow.

the problem i see here is, they aren’t addressing this issue, just like they never did in wz1 when shit got insanely fast.

verdansk would be fun, but it still wz2. so people who have inherent issues with core mechanics like buy station changes and load out changes, as much as I don’t agree with them, I understand why they wont have fun in it.

and for people like me, who enjoy how the game is, but doesn’t like how fucking slow I put plates in, or how slow I climb into a window, or how often the context to mantle or grab a ledge is so fucking inconsistent, AND SLOW.

if TTK was twice as long, then stuff being slow wouldn’t suck, it would just be a slower game, but it would be balanced.

and the problem is they aren’t seeming to address the slowness,, they are just replacing wz2 mechanics back to wz1 mechanics. and its not going to fix the damn game, its only going to further alienate the playerbase who is still hanging onto it.

bring verdansk back, sure. i need to land at my boneyard apartments again. but its still going to be slow., and the game is going to lack in enjoyment because of how slow everything else is. or worse, how straight up broken some stuff is.

i like the game., but no map is going to change it. really, no content will change it. the only way to do so is to address these little items that really burn you, when youre already at a disadvantage for whatever other reason.

  18. Nope, the map is fine and isn’t the problem. Some people may enjoy the game and that’s fine, but the people who aren’t enjoying it would most likely feel the same even if the map changed. I can’t speak for others, but it wouldn’t change enough to make the game more enjoyable for me at least.

Just freaking give us Verdansk back on WZ1. I will legit pay a monthly subscription if you include RB and FK with it.

  20. MustHaveMeMistaken

It’s not about the map. I quite like Al Mazrah.
It’s just a broken piece of shit game

  21. mike119y

It’s not the map. It’s the shitty movement and shitty TTK and the smoke and visual on the gun..

  22. boredapril

The map isn’t the issue. It’s the gameplay. Also, resurgence is just the superior game mode – and the user base for it reflects that.

  23. msitty90

I don’t think anyone’s issues are with the current map.

  24. cloudyfuel086

It’s not getting dropped in MWII/WZII. It’s coming to WZM. The survey for other maps is probably for WZM. We are getting Ashika Island and should be getting Las Almas in the future.

  25. nutshot_

The map isn’t the problem the game literally feels like dog shit it feels like pubg

  26. I think everybody that doesn’t like wz2 just don’t like the fact you can’t really outplay people anymore and how much damage you take from getting shot at. It’s all about being more strategic which most people don’t know how to be

  27. FeiLongFlameKick

Map is great. All the rest is shit. From the menu to the gameplay

  28. It would bring some Covid nostalgia and be hot for about a week but the game would still crash 50% of the time and the sound will still be broken so meh
