Hello DeseK808, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

You reminded me of when I was a kid and my dad gave me my first GPU for my birthday, you’re a great guy.

Come on now let’s see a specs list, that sapphire card is giving me good vibes

  4. Bless you for being a great dad.

Maybe down the line you can upgrade the mobo+cpu+ram but thats another story for later!

Well, it’s covered in RGB so it must be good.

Awesome build πŸ‘Œ but I would switch the rear and top fans to exhaust, it appears they are intakes at the moment. Or move the radiator to the rear as exhaust, move the rear fan to the top above the cooler as exhaust, and move the top fans to the front as intake.

That’s actually soooo good πŸ₯΄ when I built my first pc, compared to this it looked like a tornado hit it. Great dad and great attention to detail congrats πŸ‘

β€œI know nothing of building…” proceeds to build a gorgeous PC. Great work!

As long as you took that initiative to make your own son dreams come true.. trust me those moments will never be deleted in his mind.
And btw that’s a cool build even If it’s just second hand parts..

I would run the AIO as top rear exhaust personally. This way you get all fresh air from the front for the GPU. That said, if you leave it where it is, I’d suggest moving the AIO up all the way that last inch or two in order to ensure that the radiator is at the top of the loop. It looks like it might already be but I’d go the extra step to be sure so that the air doesn’t get stuck in the pump.

    Great build, good job parent!

That’s how I started too. Probably like 10 years ago

I remember when my dad got a bunch of pc parts from his other tech nerd friend and built my first PC. Getting me into the hobby. It’s such an amazing nerd tradition to do with your kids.
