It was this way during Cold War and Vanguard as well. COD games are just vessels for Warzone – multiplayer is a camo grinding/ gun levelling platform so that players can then go and use those weapons in Warzone.
Anyone that bought MWII expecting it to be anything different from the above was kidding themselves.
I’m not saying this is acceptable by Activision. But at a certain point, you have to take responsibility for where you put your money.

WZ2 might or might not do that, depending on how quickly they can fix all of the “new vision for Warzone” things and revert them back.
People don’t understand that F2P does not mean “publisher earns nothing as it’s free”, they do, and they do earn a lot, and that’s why so many games switched to the F2P model.
Also, a huge amount of people bought MW2 only to be able to level guns faster, they literally don’t care about multiplayer or improvements for it, as long as they can level guns faster.

Idk how everyone else feels but respawn shooters just seem to have ran their course. I’ve played cod since I was 13. I’m now 30. SBMM ruined the multiplayer experience perhaps idk. I just remember having more in the game back in the day

Multiplayer is as old as the internet. Kill die spawn repeat. What do they need to change? Add more maps? That’s about it. Multiplayer plays pretty well. I had no problems with it when leveling guns other than wanting more maps.

They will adress new maps and modes with the road map. This was mainly gameplay changes, which wouldnt really affect MP

I remember when games would get released and then wouldn’t get patches ever, because they were sold as a full and complete game that didn’t require future updates for playability. You just bought the game, and it worked, and if the game had bugs or was bad you would have to go and buy a different game to get a better experience.

Honestly I think ima finish the mastery camos on VG or CW. I’m so bored of MWII mp, max level, max bp, Orion, etc. SND is fun and all but even that can get annoying at times

I pretty much only play MP… For all the complaints it gets, I don’t really experience much that I think “that NEEDS to be changed!”. Sure, they could somehow balance how often objective based games are thrown into the shipment or shoot the ship gameplay, but I am happy with MP for the most part. I just leave the maps that are super campy or problematic for me.

The only playable thing on 70$ game is fucking shipment and shoot house and they can’t even deliver both of those at the same time.
I won’t even mention state of the game, bugs, unfinished stuff, UI. Literally everything fucking sucks except for shooting a gun in shipment

i paid for MW2 to get a jump on how the environment feels and to unlock guns and i’m happy with that. as new guns drop – i will have no issue getting to the unbalanced meta before they nerf the op new guns they want everyone to buy blueprints for in WZ2

Take away a game mode from Multiplayer .. Some people only paid for 3rd Person, CoD promoted it and got new players and a new community. I think they gave all those players back to PUBG
