    It’s definitely both. Cyberpunk’s longstanding appeal is because it *is* a cautionary tale about the alienation of technology, but holy shit it’s fucking *cool as fuck*.

    Cyber is analogous to technology and punk is both a philosophy and a fashion style. So it stands to reason that cyberpunk can be seen as one part idea and one part cool vibes.
