How ‘shitty’ can a 200 dollar monitor be ? And a 950$ pc?
be patient op 🙂 all will be good! for now you may buy couple of angle reinforcements at hardware store (few usd each) to reinforce and stabilize the table. with few usd more you can buy the cable organizers. then check fb marketplaces / ebay and you may easily find a replacement for kb and mouse.
I wish my PC was only $950… I paid almost that for my GPU alone.

monitor for $50 more, i have a really good $250 curved monitor, it’s great and for an extra $60 i got a wall mount and made it even better, wall mounts are something you dont NEED until you get one then realize

Dude I started with a laptop on a foldable tray table lol. I got lucky and scored one of those fancy Ikea desks for free. My gaming chair I got on clearance super cheap cuz the box was damaged. My 4 monitors (27in 1440p 165hz, 27in 1080p 165hz, 24in 1080p 165hz, 24in 1080p 75hz) cost me like $500 all together doing some deal hunting. My actual pc is the one that destroyed my wallet but its fairly decent so I don’t think I’m upgrading soon. No setup is bad or not worthwhile, we all start somewhere, just remember it’s always a work in progress.
If you get sick of your kb, the $10 amazon basics one is great. I have a bunch of various mechanical kbs but I went back to the amazon one for my play pc.
For my daily driver though, microsoft ergonomic kb, $50, feels great. 2-3 years deep so far

That dog’ll hunt, my friend. Honestly, if you check out Facebook Market or EBay, you’d be surprised how clean a desk you can find. You’ve got a nice build here, just need to pretty up its surroundings.
