It might be interesting to come up with a story behind the circumstances of having cities like this.
Maybe this is not earth, maybe this empty planet was collonized. Maybe there are times of the day when the oxygen/sun/dust gets to hmbe extreme. And instead of terraforming and changing the environment; people migrating here over the course of 150 years jusr doubled down on modular and sealable shelters like this.
