Never trust anyone in DMZ. That’s apart of the mode.

  2. for me anything is shoot on sight. first time someone said they were friendly and didn’t add me to the squad, they shot me on exfil and i lost all the hard drives i needed to extract for the mission. now i kill indiscriminately like a pmc in a middle eastern country

  3. highasagiraffepussy

How can there be two of something so fugly

  4. D1amonds01

Same. I shoot on sight, and il make the peace offer when you are downed. My peace offer is simple.
    “Join the squad or die.”

  5. ravearamashi

Shoot on sight. Heck, if you know there’s a squad nearby engaging AIs, go out and kill them before they buttfuck you.

  6. MadDog_8762

I just get a kick out of how blindingly trusting people are in game….

Hell, even in something like Tarkov, where the weight behind each life is much greater

Saying “im friendly” will bring 90% of players blindly walking out into your sights, its fabulous

  7. TheUnrealCanadian

Works better if you just don’t say anything and Kill on sight

  8. No-Celebration-2359

Honestly, this is how I imagine most people in this sub when they rage about a free game.

Op: I don’t think you’re raging, i get the annoyance

I scouted the exfil site to find one lone player. I calmly told him that we know he is alone. And we will kill him if he doesn’t join our squad in 10 seconds.

I heard a kid’s squeal. When we went up there, he was gone. Probably parachuted off.

  10. CakeAndCrown

I try to befriend everyone because I suck at PvP and just get killed every time 🥲

  11. You lose literally a gun lmao, who cares.

You’d have weekly nightmares if someone did this in Tarkov on you

  12. I mean it’s allowed. Don’t trust people so easily. I have two wisdoms I got from people:
    – From my frequent squadmate on a exfil heli with other squad: “yes, us and them have ceased fire, but keep your aim on their heads and be ready to click”
    – From a Chinese random whose squad I joined in when I was talking about not engaging solo players: “Don’t be too kind to people.

I myself always assume the worst, assume everyone is hostile, even if they said they’re friendly knowing that nobody knows what is the intention of each player. They are assholes, but at least they’re asshole only in-game and in a mode that is perfectly fine to be one, unlike one of my friend’s friend that organize a 9-player squad via Discord but he set up the other 2 squads to fail by shooting them instead of sending invites and loot their stuff after rallying up.

I don’t trust that other players are friendly, and a couple of times I’ve been betrayed for being too trusting, but by and large I’ve had positive experiences with others who have a mic

I’ve had a lot of games turn super fun simply because we got a 5/6 man squad and could do basically anything. Riding into exfil with 2 LTVs with turrets is super fun, all the other players bolt at the sight of it.

Also it makes certain missions such as extracting with a certain amount of cash on a single player super easy

My crew runs a easy thing

Speak your peace and let’s kick ass together or die if you shoot one of us

We’ve started to have one or two approach and usually me with a sniper post up and watch them incase it goes bad

  15. AirStoneNavrno

The fifth tier of white lotus change people

  16. foxnamedfox

damn those old boys don’t need to camp a buy station, they can hear you walking from 500m out

  17. TheUltimateDoobis

If you say friendly you have 5 seconds to accept my squad invite or you’re gonna be escorted out of my game.

  18. fearlessflyer1

played too much DayZ back in the day to trust anyone claiming to be friendly in prox chat

  19. Jsnbassett

The only people i EVER not destroy is someone who clearly sounds old and is just tryin’ to relax and play a game. I usually can tell 😅

Everyone else i go out of my way to hunt the entire lobby down. If my mission is near a UAV active tower or a SAM site… I am coming for you too.

I am also on a mission to extract 30 dog tags and kill 45 with silenced AR.. thank you game 😉

  20. nacnud_uk

I’m keeping the faith. Fuck unfriendly people. It’s only a game. If killing my avatar makes you happy when we’ve spoken, then you’ve more issues that the game can’t solve.

  21. _Prisoner_24601

Yup and I don’t trust people anymore. Everyone gets shot because I’ve been burned too many times. Sorry.

  22. Obi_YEET_Kenobi

love doing this, you can’t trust anyone

  23. darthmcdarthface

They look more like bunny hoppers to me.

  24. Ubba_Lothbrok

Nah man, in DMZ if it moves it’s getting lit up like a fucking Christmas tree.

  25. I mean, if we are being honest here, that pic better describes any idiot who trusts a random internet stranger. Did you also get popsicles in Herbert’s basement? Did you also believe the creepy d man who asked you of his rag smells like rohypnol? Come on, it’s the very definition of stupid

  26. DMZ does have a way of filtering out the idiots though (hence all the ‘ai too strong’ posts on here) and my intereactions have been almost all positive with just one betrayal (I’m on tier 4).

  27. wanderer-878

Really they look like those guys from outlast game

  28. formallyhuman

I’m a friendly by shooting AI goons from afar while some other squad is engaging with them.

  29. alejo91168

So far all my encounters with other players were quite civilized, we either shoot each other on sight or join teams for the Black Mous mission. But everytime we voiped someone asking to join teams they did, there’s far more benefits to joining forces in this game than killing other players
