Hey fellow pc gamers,
Not sure if this is the appropriate subreddit for this – so if it’s not please point me in the right direction!
I’m looking at selling my current rig and starting fresh on a new one. I’m pretty unfamiliar with the second hand market for pc’s and wanting some input on the best way to go about it wether to part it out or sell it as a whole running system. The specs are:
Case – Corsair 500d SE
Mobo – msi z390 MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
CPU – i7 9700k with a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum cooler
Ram – 16gb Corsair vengeance pro RGB 3200mhz CL16
GPU – gigabyte gaming oc RTX2080 8gb
PSU – Corsair rm850 with cable extensions
Storage – 250gb Samsung 970 evo plus boot drive and wd black 2tb HDD (I also have a 2tb nvme m.2 but planning on transferring it to new build as it has all my games on it)
Fans – 6 Corsair QL120 with commander pro and RGB node.
I’ll attach some pics of it too. I was wondering how much is should be looking at selling it for – I was thinking around 1,500$-1,800$ (AUD) but not sure if I’ve completely missed the mark. Thanks in advance!
Note: one of the photos I attached had the yuck psu cables before I added the braided extensions

Hello Jordieb30, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

It’s really going to vary according to your market. I’m in Texas, it would probably go for around $12-1300 here. I usually look at the listings on FB Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. to see what comparable builds are going for. It’s a nice system though, should sell pretty easily.
