The problem is WZ2 sucks and the now majority don’t care about it. Every statistical measure is down from steam charts, to twitch views, to youtube views, to even anecdotal evidence like friends not playing. The game has serious problems. It isn’t fun to play and it isn’t fun to watch.

The map encourages all the playstyles no one wants to play against. I think if you they make a map with not so many buildings but cover from the enviroment like blackout it would be overall better.

This new warzone is more BR than arcade shooter. It’s slower paced and frankly appeals to a different audience than the 12 year old rebirth player with 5 seconds of attention span. Not to insult anyone, but it’s just clear that this wz iteration is different from any other

The real problem has nothing to do with Warzone 2.0. The real problem is they’re not producing good content. There are content creators that are doing better today than they ever have because they have decided no matter what shape COD is in , they’re still going to find a way to have fun. If you’re not having fun it’s going to show in your content and that’s what the real problem is.

Content creators represent the highest level of cringe when it comes to gaming, I’m not surprised overall if their numbers would go down because the audiences probably got tired of listening to them and realized they are spending time watching when they could be playing.
For those who watch: why?
Only time I ever searched them up was to see what the META is, but now I have an app that does that lol.
Edit: also add that WZ1 came out in the pandemic so that was huge to its initial player base in the first place. Now that the worlds open, I and my friends just game less cause we are living life. I think what the new game has to offer is way more exciting than WZ1, with some bugs that need to be fixed.

Because the same clickbait titles with the same over-exaggerated facial expressions with the same fonts and symbols over the past 2 years is bound to drive people away. I really hope people that actually put effort in their content thrive with WZ2 and the basement dwellers decline heavily or is forced to put more effort.
