Battle.net is owned by Activision blizzard. Valve charges a platform fee. Makes sense that they would only put their newer games on their own launcher platform instead of steam if it saves money and is *literally* their own product. Same reason certain Ubisoft games aren’t on steam.

Don’t worry, BO4, MW2019, CW and Vanguard are most likely to get released on Steam as soon as the Activision Acquisition is done.

They only started using steam with the release of MW2 2022. They might release the other games that came out on battle.net if (hopefully) the merger goes through.
