Hello leewells1407, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

That processor looks to be from 2012. I’d look elsewhere.

Looks ok…. i7 is good, gpu good… I think your good

Cheaper to buy the pieces and assemble it yourself

  5. That CPU is from the same generation as the 12 year old CPU I just upgraded away from. That GPU was near the bottom end of all GPUs in its generation. This isn’t something I would’ve considered a good example “gaming PC” even when that card was new, the CPU *was* overkill back then and the GPU kinda lackluster. Avoid, I would say. It’s also weird that this is showing up as a color option, on a product listing for a NUC… All kinds of strange things about this, wouldn’t pursue.

1050ti is not a good gpu for todays standards. It won’t run most games very well. Like 40-55fps on low settings

If Amazon is selling it for $200 then sure but it’s outdated as hell

You’re gonna struggle a lot with the DDR3 Ram

  9. _xOlNoNamex_

Make sure ram is DDR4 and at least 4 cores (and more recent series)

My computer from 2017 and it has an i7-8700k

Depends on what games ur trying to run

I wouldn’t pay more than ~$200 for that. That hardware would have been mid-range 8 years ago, it’s not much more than e-waste now.

I’d look for a 20 series gpu with at least 16gb of ram

I would avoid pre-built PC’s as most of the times the case and the power supply are the lowest quality to keep the price low. Low quality power supply is very risky.

Nowadays I would get an RTX 2060 or 3060 graphics card at least to be able to run most games on medium/high (some on max) settings.

As a few people suggested I’d build the PC myself. I don’t know where you live but some shops have assembly service.

Take a look at [https://pcpartpicker.com/](https://pcpartpicker.com/). They have prebuilt PC’s and you can also start from scratch.

  15. no. just build it yourself, if you dont need the flashy lights you can just get an old office computer, throw a gpu in and youd have the same performance for probably a much lower cost. check out oztalkshw for good budget pc builds
