This is totally cyberpunk cool. Imagine the HUD you could have in there.
(As I lifetime glasses wearer, the person who designed this doesn’t understand that lenses fog up.)
These existed before the pandemic, and neither does it serve the purpose people think it does as a replacement for a face covering.
This is a visor for splash-protection (like decanting liquids such as urine in a microbiology lab), not microscopic virions that will easily bypass the visor.
If these got popular, more people would have died as a result of fog from their own breathe than a virus. All the deaths would still be categorized as being caused by covid.
Reposts like this one are easily the most annoying thing to come out of the sub.

Aside the pandemic, I wish that more head&neck gear would make it’s way into fashion again.
I think the general public acceptance of corporate intervention in public affairs, tracking of personal information, and obfuscation of truths have been more cyberpunk.
But that’s just me.
