Can’t tell you how many times this game has crashed, at this point I’m convinced the devs just don’t want us to have fun anymore. Playing on an RTX 3070, Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz. I already lowered graphics and switched from DLSS in FidelityFX CAS as another post suggested.

At this point, they should change the word to “expectedly” stopped working.
No crashes for a whole night yesterday(first time since launch that one of us hasn’t crashed at least twice), then 2 of our group crashed in the first 2 matches today after the patch to fix crashes on PC…this is impressive.
Yeah it is crashing more now for me. I didn’t crash hardly at all, now I’ve crashed 3 times in 7 games. Uninstall I guess. Ridiculous for 70 dollars how many times I’ve crashed. This can’t be something they tested. No way they had no crashes. Release should’ve been delayed.
Delete Nvidea ansel and try to do the file correcting motion every time you crash.
Download latest Nvidia driver AND GeForce Experience – then use GeForce Experience to optimise MW2 graphics settings. You can then use a slider in GeForce experience to tune the settings towards performance if you need more FPS. Do not use in game settings presets, optimise with Nvidia GeForce Experience only. The graphics settj gs will say “custom” at the top in game if these settings have stuck. Then you can turn off depth of field (graphic setting) and parallax (interface setting).
Everyone I have recommended this to has a very stable gameplay experience, good FPS and doesn’t crash. I haven’t crashed in days.
Is there any commonality to your crashes ?
Mine seem to happen after getting kill 7+ , and most times, could be “suspect” to cheating.
Example, final circle 3 teams left one house was half in half out of gas, I just ADS at the corner of the house waiting for someone to run out and obliterated them when I saw them (could have thought I was using walls)
Another game, had a team pinned in a house I respawned from gulag hit a crate and got a grenade launcher. Spammed the house with it until I got the kill – no idea where he was
I was thinking perhaps I was getting kicked bc of a possible in game report or even ricochet thinking I was cheating.
I just completely deleted the game and reinstalled and it has not crashed since.
yep, tried to refund the game on steam and apparently the game crashing every 40 minutes doesnt mean that the game is faulty enough to be refunded

Disable Discord in-game overlay, it stopped the game crashing for me
The game fixed itself for me last night after i opened the game in safe mode right after my last crash… Then went on to settings changed DLSS to quality and readjusted the resolution without changing anything else. No problems…
On steam I never crash on warzone though battlenet crashes every time it can…
What do you switch to from DLSS?
Mine has done this 6/7 times today earlier. But I played later and it seemed to work better
I had frequent crashes with my 3080 5900x. Got so sick of it I looked into it and turned out I was missing files and steam downloaded 100mb+ of data after the verify. Completely went away for a while then popped up again. Verified my files and this time 30mb were missing. The frequent client updates must be fucking something up with the Steam and COD communication. Just keep verifying your files my dude, best fix for me.
Turn off any overlays too. It’s dumb but it helps

I noticed that my game crashes when precision airstrikes are close (within 100m) or sometimes even when a Molotov is thrown at me. My setup is completely new and more than capable to handle anything… but this game. It is so unoptimized it is no longer funny.
Gonna try to reduce the video scale setting to 70 and reduce some other settings to low, as someone else suggested
