Extreme @ Anta777 Test 13, run alone, fails even at Optimized Defaults with EXPO off.


  • Setup: 9950X3D, X870E AORUS PRO X3D ICE on BIOS F9d, and the 2x32GB dual-rank Patriot Viper Elite 6000 CL28.

  • What I’ve tried:

    • 6000 once passed the full test 31/31 in about 50 min, but now it always fails at step 12/31, which is Test 13.
    • The VSOC sweep had big swings between runs, and identical readings gave a pass on one boot and an instant fail on another.
    • Changing ARdPtrInitVal didn’t help.
    • After swapping the sticks, tRDWR 21 and tPHYRDL 36 stayed on B2. That points to channel B or the memory controller, not the stick.

  • Is this bad hardware, are there known Test 13 false errors on Zen 5, could the beta BIOS cause it, and has anyone seen the same?
