Riot Games has announced a local watch party for the VALORANT Champions Shanghai Grand Final, to be held on 18 October 2026 at Fang Kong in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Doors open at 11:30am (local time) and the event runs until the end of the Grand Final broadcast.

The broadcast will be shown in a larger hall with a bigger screen, enhanced sound and an expanded food selection compared with previous watch parties; attendees can also take part in merchandise giveaways. Entry is free, but registration is required, with 600 slots available. Registration is set to open on 13 October 2026, though expect the slots to fill quickly – even if SEA’s hometown heroes Paper Rex is already out of the championship contention.

The watch party forms part of VALORANT Celebration Month, an initiative for the Malaysian community that begins with the Grand Final event. Two further events under the initiative will be announced at a later date. Riot Games previously organized four official watch parties in Malaysia in 2022, during the early stage of the VALORANT Champions Tour. In 2026, it hosted two watch parties in collaboration with Paper Rex.
