My kit is HyperX Fury 32GB DDR5 (5200@ CL40-40-40-40 1.25V at XMP)
overclocked to the timings and speed in the first screenshot ( i know some timings are loose but no matter what i do it wont boot, showing debug 0A and other debug LED on board and even sometimes the led numbers just go off with no boot)
VDD ,VDDQ around 1.355v.
VDDG CCD raised to 0.950v and ICD to 1v.
CPU vsoc is 1.160v and i have a per core undervolt.
(i used my phone to take these screenshots not snipping tool cause i was testing it with no background tasks opened)
are these safe by any chance? i got no ram fan cooler obviously since its not like “normal” to have. and my case fan curve is set to default so the motherboard is controlling the speed.
both DIMMS peaked 65.5c at tREFI of 65535 and didnt go past that passing 2 cycles of TestMem5 then i decided to stop since I’m concerned about the temp. and i don’t wanna cook my components in an overnight test to ensure its stable just to wake up next day finding my ram at 75c+.
i dropped it to 50K and it peaked around 60c after one cycle only.
these are samsung dies so i don’t know how they behave.
in gaming ram temps are around 49-53c peaking 55c then dropping. thats with minecraft shaders and distant horizon on aggressive loading over 400K chunks along side 150+ Mod and resource packs. so its kinda normal??. but i dont know if it is normal or if it will degrade my ram overtime considering the awful time we live at currently.
i wanna prolong it while keeping it stable in the best way possible.
some people told me it is stable and safe and i shouldn’t be concerned as long as its in normal use or gaming it shouldn’t be above 60c. but looking at other people posts on reddit with max temps around 48c is making me concerned, yeah i know their kits are Hynix A die or M die with probably better ram heatsink but i can’t tell.
are these temps safe? my room temp is around 27-29c with no AC on just a ceiling fan. and i reside in a basically warm country (Egypt) so it be peaking 35-31c outside let me know if anything can be done or if this is safe as people said it was
