I’m looking into picking up a 96GB (2x48GB) kit of Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 (SKU: CMP96GX5M2B6800C40).
The XMP specs on this kit are 6800MHz CL40-50-50-110 at 1.40V. Since 2x48GB modules are built on 24Gb SK Hynix dies (M-die/B-die), I know the memory chips themselves are top tier.
My goal is to downclock them to 6000MHz and tighten the timings to CL30 (e.g., 30-36-36-76 or 30-38-38-80) at around 1.35V–1.40V, primarily to keep a 1:1 UCLK ratio and max stability on my setup.
Has anyone tried running this specific 6800 C40 96GB kit at 6000 C30? Should I expect any issues given that it's Dual Rank, or will the SK Hynix ICs easily handle the tighter timings at 6000MHz?
