A processor for gaming and big productivity
Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K is a good gaming CPU, and its main direct competitor may be Intel’s own Core i9 14900K. The two trade blows in gaming performance, with the Core Ultra 9 285K leading in two key areas. First, it’s a better multi-core performer, making it great for productivity and content creation. Second, it’s far more efficient and runs far cooler, ideal for a stable system.
A GPU designed for 1440p
For all its silly pricing when bought on its own, the RTX 5070 is a very good pick for users who want 1440p gaming with a side order of content and productivity smarts. The Blackwell architecture supports the latest DLSS enhancements, too, which can help it creep into 4K in some titles. Plus, its support for the latest encoding and rendering tech makes it an easy mixed-use winner.

Outlandish style and proven build quality
You cannot seriously look at the Gaming Aqua and claim it is style over substance. The specs list, including the parts above, plus 32GB of DDR5 6000 RAM, a 1TB NVMe, and an 850W Gold PSU, round up to a fine midrange gaming and productivity build. But the style is inescapable. Skytech’s Aqua case is outlandishly smart, with its dual tempered glass and display platform. This is a system that has cooling aplenty, thanks to a 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler and ARGB Fans, from a builder that knows its PCs.
What to consider before you buy
It’s a shame, but we have to insert the usual Intel caveat here. The Core Ultra 9 285K is a fine processor, with a lean towards productivity. However, the LGA 1851 socket is a dead end, and if upgrading a prebuilt PC is on your list of needs, then this one misses out. We’d suggest a Socket AM5 build if you want longevity beyond an initial purchase. But let’s not disregard this system. It’s a good pick for gaming and productivity, especially at this price. And it looks amazing.
