Playing this masterpiece again. I didn’t notice the first couple playthroughs but why didn’t the biochip protect Jackie at all. He was already injured before fighting through the lobby, which I assumed is what killed him. Did the chip get damaged somehow or is it because Jackie was already injured before putting in the chip?
