The smoothness of the game is incredible! I've never had frame rates this consistent in any game that wasn't 10 years old, and I also haven't had a monitor that can actually show it off properly until recently.

Tuned hardware:

9800X3D

5080

16GBx2 6000MHz CL26 RAM

Stock performance was much higher average FPS (since there was no FPS cap), but since I've tweaked the hardware and introduced an FPS cap the 1% lows have increased from ~220 to 475 with some outlier frame times coming in at 450FPS. There was also a single worst frame generated at 327FPS (~3.05ms). The second image shows the consistent frame times with the outlier frames removed. In total only ~25 frames were removed from the full test of 47,000 frames generated during the test.

To achieve this over the last year I've been slowly adding tweaks to my BIOS, Windows, Windows Registry, and CPU Priority/Core configuration. It all started with a disable NVIDIA Reflex in CS2 post I made about a year ago.

I can honestly say there is nothing more needed out of the tweaking. The CS2 FPS benchmark is far more taxing than a real game, and so I expect a real competitive match to not even dip below 480FPS a single time (except on train).

If more tweaks come to light I might try to push for a 480FPS 0.1% lows, but that probably needs both a better CPU and GPU, which I have no intention of doing for 4 years or so.
