The Vanguard bios went straight to the card, and the result is quite nice (bios confirmed via gpu-z). This has also been stable in gaming. The core has a plus 380mhz overclock, memory plus 3000mhz. I use a ddr4 4400 kit, but I have tightened them to 4000mhz gear1 cl16 (50ns). Steel Nomad gives a little over 7700 points (standard 6900).
This is of course not an extreme result, but a suitable overclock for gaming. And yes, I have a backup of the bios, in case I want to reinstall it at some point. The Gaming Trio is a high-performance cooler, Vanguard bios only gave 20 watts more, so it's a pretty small difference. But I got about 50 hertz more for the core, haha.
I have to add that I love the Gaming trio card, it's one of the quietest models I've ever owned (for example, the Hellhound cooler was just as quiet when I had it with the 7800xt). Great card if you want quiet and cool.
