Hey guys, how’s it going?
I’m trying to overclock a Ryzen 5 1600AF using a BIOSTAR B350GT3 motherboard. I set the voltage and clock in the usual way in the BIOS, but whenever I open HWMonitor or any other monitoring software, the PC completely freezes.
My current settings are:
– CPU Ratio: 38.00
– CPU Core Voltage: +0.080v or +0.100v
In both configurations, the PC freezes as soon as I launch a monitoring tool.
Another strange thing I noticed is that when I open Task Manager, the CPU clock shows 4.4 GHz, while the base speed is 3.8 GHz.
Has anyone experienced something like this or knows the exact settings that could fix this issue?
