So, I romanced River to see what all the fuss was about and honestly he's really cute. Maybe because I kept clicking the flirty options but I don't really see how he's creepy or weird – I mean he's a little awkward but that doesn't scream "weirdo" to me.
I've romanced Judy in the past and I really do love her but I think a huge part of why its less weird is because you know her from the get go but River and V (although rushed) do seem to have chemistry lol. Besides, I'd rather have Judy leave Night City since she clearly wants to start fresh.
After romancing him, the hate is kinda overblown.
