Microsoft keeps asking me to use OneDrive and I'm just not interested. But they don't seem to take no for an answer. You can click "No Thanks" as many times as you want, and it won't stop asking me. This doesn't happen really that much with Microsoft Edge.
What bothers me even more is me thinking about why they are doing this. It actually makes me wonder if this is all part of a bigger plan. It started with Windows 8, when they began really pushing people to use an online Microsoft account instead of just a local one on their computer. And now with Windows 11, they have gotten even more aggressive about it, and they never stop pestering you about OneDrive.
I can't help but think this might have been a setup from the start. A kind of digital ID trap they were building for later on. Especially now that several US states are starting to pass age verification laws that are being implemented at the operating system level. It makes you wonder if that was the goal all along.
