This brilliant ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC brings a lot to the table, both in terms of design and performance, and it’s now got a solid $200 discount at Newegg, that’s knocked its price down from $1,899.99 to $1,699.99. That’s a very competitive price for something with an RTX 5070, Intel Core Ultra 7-265KF, 32GB of DDR5, and a 2TB SSD. This is the type of PC that’s going to be great for 1440p gaming, and also a quality option for content creators, and productvity, too. For under $1,700, we think it’s a bit of a steal, and well worth checking out while it’s still reduced.

RTX 5070 12GB graphics card
The RTX 5070 is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p you can get, especially if you’re keen on having something with some of the latest technology brought forward by Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. With the RTX 5070, you’ve got 4th-gen ray tracing cores, designed to handle more complex scenarios more easily, plus new 5th-gen tensor cores, which boost this card’s AI capabilities and performance significantly. One exclusive feature of the 50-series is MFG, which can be used to push framerates (perceived fps that is) higher, resulting in smoother-looking gameplay. This is great for more graphically demanding titles, or 4K gaming, but sticking with pure rasterization would be advisable if you want to preserve responsiveness. Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor
In terms of value for money, future-proofing, and versatility, the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF is a great way to go, and a solid pairing with the RTX 5070. Typically, you’ll find something like a Ryzen 7 8700F processor in RTX 5070 prebuilds, and it’s a great choice for gaming, but its core and thread count are much lower than the 7-265KF. With this processor, you’ve got 20 cores (8P and 12E) and 20 threads, which makes it a solid choice for creatives, streamers, and those who need something better suited to multitasking than your typical ‘gaming’ processor. On the gaming front, while this may not be as punchy as something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, its 5.5Ghz boost clock and 30MB L3 cache make it adept at handling 1440p and 4K at high fps with low frame latency. It’s even suitable for the RTX 5080, and is found paired with it in many prebuilds for around $2,500. Check out our review of the K version here for more information.
Storage and RAM
This build packs 32GB of DDR5, which is great as it’ll help with running demanding creative applications and games, and give you plenty of headroom for future releases. It also has a 2TB SSD, which is more than enough to hold a large gaming library without needing constant storage management.
Things to consider
The only real thing to consider here is whether to explore options that are slightly above this price and will be better suited for both 1440p and 4K gaming in some respects. The next tier up, at around $1,900 or so, will get you an RX 9070 XT 16GB build, with a decent X3D processor in most cases. In terms of raw rasterization performance, these are comparable to the RTX 5070 Ti with some games, and you’ve got some features like FSR4, which are pretty impressive, too. That said, they may have 16GB of VRAM, but it’s the slower GDDR6 version, and their ray tracing and AI capabilities are outshone by Nvidia’s offerings.
