I'm used to waking my system with a keyboard press or moving the mouse around, sometimes I can wake the system this way normally but mouse+keyboard won't work and other mentioned devices vanish from device manager, and sometimes this doesn't work at all, I have to press the power button on the case, waking it up this way is successful and everything is back on, but again this is random and not always a clean wake up.

This even happened to me once when the system was off but plugged in(a cold boot?). This seems like an issue with everything that is connected to chipset controllers? because two of my SSDs are alright and some USBs (connected to CPU) do work when this happens, is this RAM related?(RAM OC OFF Happens too) Windows related? Chipsets(Drivers) related? CPU related? PSU Related?

My system:

  • Mobo: ASUS TUF X670E-PLUS WiFi
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • RAM: DDR5-6000 CL30 (DOCP 1 fails to boot, DOCP 2 selected, all Default)
  • OS: Windows 10 21H2 LTSC OS Build 19044.6691 (Installed on NVMe Gen 5)
  • BIOS: 3602 (AGESA 1.0.2.7, tried many versions, issue persists)
