Developer Caramel Column has released a demo for Prolegomena to a Hyperdimensional Interface That Will Be Able to Manifest From Three-Minute Interchanges on PC via Steam. The full version is scheduled to launch in 2026.

Prolegomena To a Hyperdimensional Interface That Will Be Able to Manifest From Three Minute Interchanges 3

Prolegomena is a fully voiced adventure game built around repeated three-minute conversations with a mysterious woman. The demo is currently available as part of Steam Next Fest and features a standalone scenario separate from the main game’s story.

In Prolegomena, you engage in timed exchanges with an enigmatic older sister-type character voiced by Aya Endo. Each session lasts roughly three minutes, and the game unfolds through these short conversations. The full release will include branching choices and multiple endings based on how your discussions play out.

The demo takes a different approach. It removes standard dialogue choices and instead presents a unique scenario created specifically for this trial version. It also leans into metafiction elements. At certain points, you are asked to prove your existence beyond the game’s dimension by interacting with elements outside the usual in-game interface.

Caramel Column confirms that the full game will expand on these systems with more traditional branching paths and multiple endings. The main character will remain fully voiced by Aya Endo, and the story centers on an experiment described as a collaboration between you and the mysterious woman on the other side of the connection.

The developer is also openly allowing gameplay videos and livestreams of the demo and future release for both individuals and companies, including monetized content, as long as players follow the published guidelines.
