We are an art collective (The Vériti Circle) that’s been facilitating Lumen Vériti's generative art project APOLLO. Recently, a generative music collection was released and we ran into this critique today where a listener loved the frequency but couldn't handle the tech behind it.
The exchange turned into this heavy philosophical debate about "socio-economic power dynamics" vs. "aesthetic integrity." I figured the cyberpunk community would appreciate the tension here. The idea that human creativity might just have been the "pre-production" for a stabilized systemic output.
It feels like we’re finally moving past the "tool" phase and into a real conflict over who (or what) defines the creative standard. What do you all think?
