Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America has teased that “something big is coming” regarding Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter tomorrow, on February 24, 2026.
A brief clip was posted alongside this statement, showcasing an airship battle from the title. This information drop could be anything from a more precise release window to physical release details, or a collector’s edition. Regardless, we’ll keep you all informed.
An official Trails in the Sky fan event in May will also unveil some manner of new information.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will be released worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam in Fall 2026.

Players will be able to carry over their saved data from the previous game, granting bonus items. There will also be new linked character attacks during Quick Battles with the new Brave Rush command. Additionally, fans can expect minigames such as cooking, poker, and fishing.
