PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTRE) – Former Nacogdoches Dragon Cermodrick Bland reached base three times in SFA’s 11-5 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday.
The sophomore extended his streak of reaching base safely to 29 games
Bland started in center field and batted leadoff. He was 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. In the fifth inning, Bland reached first base on a throwing error, which allowed Juan Cantua to score. In the sixth, Bland drew a bases-loaded walk, forcing in Trey Acreman.
SFA has won two games in a row and improved to 7-2 overall. The Lumberjacks head to Waco on Tuesday to play Baylor.
