Meet Your Mom At Spaceforest Cafe is the twelfth main mission in High on Life 2 if you picked it after dealing with James Stevenson. Unsurprisingly, this one is not a bounty and instead follows having a nice dinner with your mother. Or so you’d think anyway! Follow our walkthrough for help getting to the Riverwalk, finding the Circuit Arcadia Zoo, and more useful info.
Go to the Circuit Arcadia Riverwalk
After choosing the Dinner With Mom mission from the RV terminal, drop down to the City Plaza, downtown. Since Gene couldn’t get us to the zoo, we’ll need to find it ourselves! Using the Circuit Arcadia map reveals an objective on the ri. This brings us near the Riverwalk, to the left of the Circuit Arcadia Mall.
Upon landing at the City Plaza, turn around and travel toward the mall. You’ll see a sign to the left of the mall that says Riverwalk. Unfortunately, this entrance is blocked, so we’ll need to get creative and go to the left of it instead.
While this leads to another blocked door, this is actually one we can unblock. Shoot the nearby plant bulb to remove the plant blocking the door. Then, head inside where you’ll encounter another forcefield blocking the path. As Creature quickly mentions, you can use his children to disable the forcefield.
Before doing so, we’ll need to find an entrance to the tubes below us to send his children into. Turn to the left of the first door we passed through, and you’ll see more plants along the wall. Pop the nearby bulb to temporarily remove them. Then, send one of Creature’s children into the tube.
Using our laser pointer alt-fire while holding Creature lets us guide his child through the tube. You’ll come across a couple more plant bulbs along the way that impede the path. Unlike the previous one, we’ll need to use Sweezy’s charged-up alt-fire to hit them. This is because other Gatlians can’t shoot through the tube’s glass.
Once Creature’s child reaches the end of the first tube, they’ll appear at the next one above it. You can guide them to the electrical panel on the opposite side of the second tube. This will remove the forcefield near you and the one outside.
Find the Sewer Entrance and Ride Through the Sewers
Now that we’ve made it inside the Riverwalk, we’ll need to find the sewer entrance to avoid the police. If you follow the river running through the center of this area, you’ll eventually reach a bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left to see a large billboard. It has a candy bar ad that says Goobies in green letters above it.
Pass under the billboard and turn a little to the left to run into the sewer entrance. Since the entrance is currently blocked, we’ll need to whip out Creature again. Send one of his children into the tube next to the entrance. Then, guide the child above the door to an electrical box on the right.
Make your way inside the sewer, where you’ll find many steam vents that can launch you into the air. Be sure to pay attention since you’ll need to jump over electric fences and ride walls. Along the way, you’ll also come across hookbugs that you can tether to for getting around.
If you fall off a wall or railing and drop into the sewage below, you’ll only take a little bit of damage. Therefore, it’s not the end of the world if you slip or miss the occasional jump here. It’s more of a dignity hit from falling into sewage.
Eventually, you’ll reach a platform with a spinning fan at the end of it. You’ll have plenty of time to deal with it since you’re not in a rush at this point. Just in case you need a reminder, you can use Sweezy’s Time Bubble ability on the fan to get through it.
After passing through the fan, you’ll have a little bit more wallriding and cable grinding to go. One of the more confusing spots is a cable that leads to two vertical red pipes. You’ll need to jump to the wall on your left and then back to the right, where a cable is above you. Make sure to grapple to it before you can no longer reach it.
Once you get to a steam vent that leads to a much larger pipe above it, you’re almost out of the sewers. Ride down the tube to hit a loading screen that transports us to the Circuit Arcadia Zoo.
Go to Spaceforest Cafe
After exiting the sewers, hop over the barbed wire fence ahead of you. Then, continue straight until you can turn right to head up the steps into the zoo. As you make your way into the zoo, you’ll also unlock a fast travel point to return here at a later time. Which is especially useful if you want to visit the zoo’s gift shop for upgrades to buy.
It’s one of the few locations you can get upgrades for your Gatlian buddies in High on Life 2. Aside from upgrades, you can also spend pesos on furniture for Quarters. One example includes the Eyeball Plant, which costs 100 pesos. You’ll see it appear on a table not too far from Gene’s couch and TV.
If you’re not sure what items are purchasable inside the zoo’s gift shop, you can use your Info Scanner. This will identify anything you can interact with inside here. It’s easy to miss upgrades that aren’t near the salesman.
If you went to the gift shop, you’ll find the Spaceforest Cafe directly straight out from the entrance. Otherwise, you can follow the path to the right after first entering the zoo. This leads toward a waterfall, where you’ll see the Spaceforest Cafe to the left of it.
Find Your Family’s Table and Sit Down
Once you enter the Spaceforest Cafe, the host will mention that your family is just ahead. Make your way to the left, and you’ll see them not too far away. Shortly after sitting down, you can order an appetizer that doesn’t seem to matter. You can also eat a bunch of buns to elicit a reaction.
As the conversation continues, you’ll get a few choices to decide how you feel about Lezduit wanting to propose to your mother. The following choices are:

Right as she decides we’re heading to Wyoming, the Button’s Gluttons ambush your family dinner. This moment completes Meet Your Mom At Spaceforest Cafe and moves us into Rescue Your Dad From The Cult.
