Firstly, I apologise in advance if this is poorly articulated.
I tried to push my 5080 to the absolute limit, and arrived +195 at 1085mv – anything above that would crash every now and then: https://imgur.com/sXb5HCk
Now I thought I'd try make a slightly less aggressive curve with an undervolt; my question is, is my absolute limit +195 across all points in the curve, or are some lower points stable at a higher boost?
I tried +240 at 1010mv (curve: https://imgur.com/7pf1gJU):
- I noticed that while playing Black Myth Wukong, the core clock speed is stable at 3060-3067, whereas the other profile at 1080mv constantly moves around from 3112 to 3165 – is that a sign of stability/instability?
- Is it even worth trying this +240 profile since it's a higher boost value compared to the stable profile, or can +value be higher at lower voltage/frequency points? I know I tried at +270, and it crashed almost instantly in Wukong.
