The real issue is Themed Mode Bias in PUBG Mobile.
Let’s Be Honest
Almost every major update:
New mechanics, Recall systems, Special abilities, Hot drop islands , Event loot zones
Are added to:
✔ Erangel
✔ Livik
Meanwhile:
Miramar → Classic
Vikendi → Classic
Sanhok → Classic
Rondo → Classic
So obviously players will queue where the content is.
🎯 Why This Kills Map Diversity
1️⃣ More Content = More Fun
If Erangel has flying islands and recall towers
And Miramar has nothing…
Why would anyone choose Miramar?
It instantly feels outdated.
2️⃣ Themed Mode Is Better for RP and rank push
Let’s not pretend.
Themed mode usually has:
Recall system (less punishment)
Better loot
Faster fights
More survivability
That makes rank grinding easier.
So competitive players also shift there.
3️⃣ Streamers Only Play Themed Maps
Content creators follow hype. Hype follows themed mode. Players follow content creators.
💡 Simple Fix
If they really want balance:
Option 1: Rotate themed mode across maps
Week 1–2 → Miramar, Livik
Week 3–4 → Erangel, Miramar
Week 5–6 → Livik, Erangel
Then season ends, and new season starts.
Week 1–2 → Vikendi, Livik
Week 3–4 → Erangel, Vikendi
Week 5–6 → Livik, Erangel
Same theme. Different map.
